PROJECT
LIVBEE: A HEALTH AND WELLNESS PRODUCT FOR KIDS

I am designing and developing a product to improve the mental health and physical health of kids aged 10-16.

Livbee is a product comprised of an interactive wellness companion that syncs to an app. These are designed to support the health and well-being of kids, addressing their evolving needs through childhood and teen years. It covers physical activity, mental health, cultural activity, and promotes good sleep hygiene.

It even has features to alert the child to compulsive phone use and encourage kids to put their phone away for a good night’s sleep.

Livbee Task Flows

I began the information architecture phase with task flows. These flows then informed the creation of the wireframes.

Livbee Wireframes and Prototyping

Wireframes were created for each screen of the app, then made it interactive for the prototype.

Livbee UI Design

User interface design is in progress. I'm designing iteratively, focusing on one path at a time.

Making it Real

As Livbee is a personal project it’s important for me to dig in and see how it might make it into the real world.

I conducted a market overview to analyze children’s health tech competitors. In developing the strategy, I outlined marketing channels (digital marketing, community engagement, and partnerships) and sales channels (direct-to-consumer and partnerships with pediatricians).

I crafted a spending plan targeting an ambitious revenue goal of $50 million in the first year, along with projections for revenue, spending, and profit over three years. Finally, I created a project timeline covering the period through product launch and beyond.

At this early stage, Livbee is continually undergoing changes and evolutions, as I workshop ideas with founders and product designers.
